Tomorrow night Winnipeg dream pop group, Living Hour are set to play The Fixin To on N Lombard along with Portland Artists, Mujahedeen, Surfer Rosie, and Montana band, Cairns. The tour kicked off last at Sled Island Festival in Calgary last week. This tour is in anticipation of their upcoming record set for release in 2018.
Sink into the drowsy guitars and blissful, washed-out textures of Winnipeg’s Living Hour. The band made up of dream-pop revivalists’ atmospheric and pillowy melodies are colored by psychedelic accents and the enthralling coos of vocalist Sam Sarty. Brushed-Snare Beats, droning reverberations, and wobbly romanticism conjure up a tranquil and exploratory state of mind. The band’s debut album was released in February 2016.
Tickets are $5 at the door. Doors open at 9, don’t miss it!
