What Was Sound Fest Adds Sunbathe

Less than two weeks to get your tickets!


The first inaugural What Was Sound Fest has added local indie band, Sunbathe to the lineup. The new Portland fest features a lineup of DIIV, Woods, El Ten Eleven, Fruit Bats, plus local acts Small Leaks Sink Ships, Bed., Jujuba, and now Sunbathe. The one day festival takes place on May 27th at Tom McCall Park. Doors at 1pm and music at 2pm, DIIV will finish their set around 10:30pm. Set times will be announced soon.

With the ever rising costs of attending a music festival, and the lackluster lineup of Sasquatch! Music Festival this year, What Was Sound offers a nice affordable alternative. Tickets are only $28 and get you access to the CityFair (who doesn’t like a carnival?), and DIIV hasn’t played Portland in 5 years (if you don’t count Pickathon). Links to tickets here.
