It’s been a busy couple of weeks for Portland’s longest running late-night comedy show, Who’s The Ross. The weekly variety show’s host, Aaron Ross, premiered the second episode of the show Training Wheels, a hilarious local web series written by Ross and co-writer on the variety show, Jordan Paladino. Their premiere at Start Theater was a huge success.
This week they are on the move again. This time to the sensually lit confines of The Liquor Store on SE Belmont St. The show is truly one for the ages as they have brought on some very exciting up and coming acts, which will also include a full show after Who’s The Ross has wrapped up. Blossom, a rising star in the Portland music community will be the show’s musical guest. She recently had a Holocene show as well as opened up for Ginuwine before he took the stage at the Wonder Ballroom this past weekend. She was a hit when she played at our inaugural music industry night and she is sure to be a awesome focal point of tonight’s show.
After the variety show concludes Portland bands Rococo and Wicked Shallows will be taking the stage. These two groups are stretching the boundaries of folk, using some very intense and beautiful arrangements. Both are must see groups who are sure to be hot commodities this summer.
