Operators have a somewhat untraditional approach to touring and album releases. Formed by Dan Boeckner of Wolf Parade fame, along with Divine Fits drummer Sam Brown, and multi-instumentalist Devojka, back in 2013, Operators have just now announced their debut album, Blue Wave, due out April 1st, two years after the band formed. They’ve also shared the first single, “Cold Light,” after their previous tour announcement.
The album was produced by Holy Fuck’s Graham Walsh (Metz, Alvvays, Viet Cong).
